The Amsterdam-based Rights Radar Foundation for Human Rights in the Arab world, called on the international community to take a serious and urgent action to prevent implementing the execution against 30 civilian detainees in the prisons of Ansar Allah movement (the Houthi armed group) in Yemeni capital Sanaa, who were sentenced to death on Monday July8, 2019 through a judicial process that lacked fairness and legitimacy.

In a statement on the International Women's day, RR strongly condemned the unprecedented abuses against women in Yemen, which are entirely contrary to the Yemen's laws and social customs, especially in the cities and areas that controlled by Ansar Allah (Houthi group), as well as in the cities that under the control of the UAE-back forces in the southern provinces of Yemen.

The Netherlands-based foundation for human rights in the Arab world, Rights Radar (RR), called on the United Nations to include the issue of victims of torture and detainees, in the agenda of the Special Envoy of the UN to Yemen, Martin Griffith, to save the lives of the detainees after many of them lost their life.

RR called also on the UN to use its tools to push for an urgent investigation into the air raids by the Saudi-led coalition targeted children's bus in Dahyan market, in Saada province, on Thursday, August 9, which killed 51 civilians including 29 children, in addition to injuring 79 other civilians, in Dhahyan market, province of Saada, north Yemen.

The Netherlands-based Rights Radar Organization for Human Rights called on the United Nations to take urgent action to save the lives of the detainees in the prisons of the Emirati forces in Aden Governorate, south of Yemen, in general and the detainees in Bir Ahmed prison in particular. Many of those detainees had to go on hunger strike to attract the world's attention to their forgotten issue after having faced the most severe torture and abuse by their jailers.
