Rights Radar for Human Rights said its field team documented 494 violations committed by the Houthi group against civilians in Taiz Governorate between 10 August and 22 October 2026, an average of roughly one violation every three and a half hours.
The organization said the documented violations included the killing of 79 civilians and the injury of 206 others, 28 cases of arbitrary detention, 12 cases of enforced disappearance and 20 cases of child recruitment, as well as attacks on 149 public and private properties. It stressed that this toll reveals a widespread pattern of targeting civilians and civilian objects in the besieged city, one that demands urgent international action to stop it and to hold those responsible to account.
